Every year 500,000 children are placed in foster care and taken from their home, family, friends, relatives, toys, bedroom, clothes, pets, etc. 130,000 of these children never return home and are waiting for a forever family.
This race is to raise funds to help foster families but also raise awareness on how people can help and support foster families in their communities.
